Weekly Section Rides
In 2004, the section enjoyed a camping weekend at the
CTC York Rally and a hostelling weekend in the Dales.

Members undertook Cycle Tours in France, Spain using the
'Bike Bus',
in the Trossachs, Wales, Northumberland, the
Midlands, a Coast to Coast Double and the
CTC Annual Birthday rides.
The Rides start from the Buttercross
in Pontefract Town Centre every Sunday at 9am and are run
at a leisurely 10/12 mph.

If this is too slow, there are
opportunities to go faster. If 10mph seems daunting at first, you won't
be left behind, we'll be happy you
joined us.
Distances range from
25 to 90 miles, depending on the
time of year, with options to cut off
if the distance is too great.

See photographs
taken on our runs
and read stories of members experiences or look up local

Riders participating range in age
